In HCTP, one of the key features that makes it stand out from the previous installments is that players can actually unlock items by purchasing them, with "Smackdown! dollars" earned from winning matches from season mode.
For info, every locked wrestlers have their movesets, moves, and signboards
locked, too. When you unlock a wrestler, everything associated with them
becomes unlocked.
