I have already read this book. An excellent story. Portsmouth football fan, Martin Kerr, travelled to see England play in the World Cup at France '98 with his partner and her six year old son. What should have been two weeks of sun, sea and football turned into a living hell when Martin was attacked and arrested by a French police snatch squad before England's opening game. His only "crime" was that he was an England fan. And what happened to Martin could happen to you the next time you follow England overseas. Read his true story in An Englishman Abroad.
